Vaspatkó Riding Stable

The riding stable was estabilished in September 2019. It iserves as the venue of seventeen boxes and a indoor training ground, with spectator area of more than 150 people on bothside, providing comfortable seats for shows and competitions.

An outdoor practice track has also been created next to the building. Since 2012, we have offered free riding lessons to students from Lakitelek, which is no longer weather-dependent and can be offered all year round. Every week, nearly 150 pupils ride under the supervision of our instructors. In the afternoons, we offer individual training sessions for external and hotel guests. A café with a terrace has been set up on the first floor of the Riding Stable.

Obstacle course

We set up our equestrian obstacle course next to the Nimród Footgolf Park and the Vaspatkó Riding Stables.

It consists of the following elements:

Start Gate: which marks the beginning of the track as two columns. The columns are reminiscent of the ancient buildings of the Great Plain, and the decoration on them also reflects the ancient formal language.

Columnar hornbeam gate and tunnels: Columnar hornbeams, which were planted 3 metres, form a natural gateway for passers-by. Tunnels are found immediately after the gates, in lengths of 3, 6 and 9 metres.

Ivy gate: It has the same size as the start gate. An ivy plant surrounding a wooden structure built on the two columns of the gate.

Openable gate: A wooden gate between two reinforced concrete pillars, which can be opened by the rider from the horse's back. The wooden structure and pattern of the gate represents the male and female worlds.

Labyrinth: Made of 50 cm wide privet hedge in the shape of the classic seven-aisle labyrinth. At the end it finnishes with the double terrace.

Terrace: Exiting the labyrinth, a double terrace built into the side of the hill. The lake here is also perfect for swimming of horses.

Vaspatkó Buffet

On the top floor of the Vaspatkó Riding Stables, we have created a Buffet. Our guests participating in various games, exercises and riding trainings can refresh themselves with a delicious, aromatic coffee. The buffet offers soft drinks, refreshing waters, snacks and sweets.

Our Riding Stables Buffet is currently open on a temporary basis in connection with the Hungarikum Liget events. From its terrace you can enjoy a fabulous view of the Footgolf Park and Hungarikum Liget.
